The “Smokehouse” Semi-Hollow Bellecaster looks like it’s already got a few stories to tell.

A deep Dark Violin/Bourbon Burst rolls across a flamed maple top before disappearing into dark, smoky edges. Add the F-hole, aged pearloid guard, aged nickel hardware and a light relic treatment, and Smokehouse lands somewhere between an old favorite and a one-of-a-kind custom that’s been hiding behind the bar for 30 years.

The neck is an absolute showstopper—5A roasted birdseye maple from the shaft all the way through the fingerboard, with figuring that seems to change every time the light hits it. Heavy rolled edges and a hand-rubbed tung oil finish give it that smooth, played-for-years feel, while abalone inlays and glowing Luminlay side dots add just enough flash to remind you this is no ordinary old workhorse.

And Smokehouse isn’t just good looking.

A pair of our 9 Point Guitars Custom Shop Southern Twang pickups deliver the snap, bite and clarity these guitars were built around, while the 6-way switching opens up a much wider range of tones than you’d expect from two single coils.

Under the hood, it’s built with the same attention to detail as everything you can see—premium electronics, vintage cloth wiring and fully copper-shielded cavities.

Meet Dead Red — a Bellecaster with plenty of attitude and the tone to back it up.

An alder body topped with 1/4” flamed maple wears a killer Candy Red and Black finish, with a light relic and aged nickel hardware giving it just the right amount of worn-in character.

The neck is built from Padauk with a Wenge fingerboard, this exotic wood combination gives the guitar a premium look and feel you won’t find hanging on every music store wall. The rich reddish-brown Padauk against the dark, heavily grained Wenge is striking, while a hand-rubbed tung oil finish and heavily rolled fingerboard edges give it that smooth, broken-in feel from day one.

A pair of 9 Point Guitars Custom Shop Southern Twang single coils deliver everything from clean, crisp country bite to gritty Southern rock. The 6-way switching gives you even more tonal ground to cover without complicating the traditional one-volume, one-tone layout.

Under the hood, Dead Red is loaded with quality components including CTS pots, Orange Drop capacitor, treble bleed, Pure Tone jack, vintage cloth wiring, and fully copper-shielded cavities.
