The bait business is a hard one and at this time Lake’s Bait does not have an option for deliveries within a reasonable price that a boy can manage, so for the time being Lake’s Bait is closed.

It is with great regret that at this time Lake’s Bait will not be opening this season. We are having trouble getting minnows delivered to Lake that is a manageable price for him to have delivered. So for the time being Lake’s Bait is Closed. If we can get something figured out we will post and make it happen for our son but at this time it is just not within our reach. We want to say a huge thank you to those who have supported us as parents that allowed our son’s dream happen! He loves his shop and he loves to make money so you allowed us to give a great life lesson honestly to all 4 of our kids! Thank you to those who stopped and encouraged the kids while they worked on this business showing them people do care out there! And thank you to those who gave the kids grief too, a lesson of how to not act! My kids took it all in, somethings they will kee forever and other things I have told them to just let it go! ❤️ thank you!

Hope everyone had a great 4th! 🇺🇸 just to keep everyone updated we still are not getting deliveries, supply is down & we are “low man on the totem pole”. We still have no stock. Sorry for any inconveniences, soon as we get a delivery I will update. Thank you for understanding.

Lake’s bait will be closed until late next week. Sorry for any inconvenience but our supplier is not able to get anything in for deliveries so unfortunately we have nothing currently. We will be trying to place an order come Monday with the hopes of delivery by the end of the week. Thank you for understanding.

For those of you that didn’t know a freak accident happened Wednesday afternoon. We were able to find Lake a working bait machine, brought it home Tuesday and Wednesday was working on getting help to unload it. Well the machine ended up tipping and falling on Lake. His dad rushed him to our local hospital & we ended up getting transferred to childrens in Pittsburgh. Long story short Lake is alive and here with us today. He has a broken scapula, a small puncture in the pleurae of his lung & lots of bumps and bruises. He is still a kid and over does it so we are doing our best to keep him still and not running around. Today he sat and made some traps to catch leeches, going to put them out and see what he gets. He was able to stop at H&H Beer Dist. on our way home & found out he made his first sale the day after he put his frig there so that made him smile! Thank you to everyone who continues to support this boy and encourage him on his journey, we truly do appreciate it.

Just a few reminders for all, coming from Lake’s parents. We both have full time jobs. This is our son’s hobby & his way to earn money for things he wants. No we do not have set hours but we will do our best to work with you, you can text the phone number or message on Facebook messenger. Do not give Lake or his siblings who do help him out any grief on any of these issues, they cannot help it. We got some remarks last year to our face and on Facebook about these, ones I’m not happy as a parent who is just teaching a child some life skills. Have patience with us & with Lake. Thank you for your understanding & with your future business!

Lake did a little work yesterday after school! His Grammy made him a new sign and we finally got it up. It’s nothing big and crazy but Lake is happy with it for sure! Don’t forget we have meal worms, worms, & minnows currently. If you need pond feeder fish we can help you with that too! Avid fisherman, need a flat of worms?
