Knitting for Olive Baby Bear Bonnet for a potential future grandchild. I don’t know how much longer I’ll have the desire to knit or how much longer my fingers will allow me to knit with small needles so I thought I would start making a few items to save for a potential grandchild many years from now. The yarn is Knitting for Olive Merino and Silk Soft Mohair in Cloud.

I’m playing around with ideas for craft shows. What do you think of these pufferfish bags? I need to actually write out the pattern. What would you expect to pay for one?

Finally! I bought this yarn in March 2023 when we were in Galway. I was sad to learn the shop, Annie O’Mallie’s, where I purchased the yarn closed last spring. The yarn is Donegal Tweed.

All Over Clover hat number two. Again, I’m using leftover acrylic. The body was knit in I Love This Yarn and I’m unsure if the contrast yarn brand. I like this color combo better.

This is my “Lucky Charms” hat. The pattern is All Over Clover by Noemi Zimmer. There is also a matching cowl. The design is cute and the graph is straightforward. I am not, however, happy with my yarn choices. Although, I received many compliments on the hat and the colors last night at curling (so maybe I’m just too critical). This hat is made from leftover acrylic from Red Heart and I Love This Yarn. Both are heavier than the Knit Picks Swish I usually use. Even with adjusting the needle size it is still a little too large for my small head. I’m going to knit up a couple more in different yarns. Pictures to come later.
