Now that we're past the last big week-end of summer, we'll start thinking about fall and putting out our fall merchandise, décor, clothing and shoes - but first we have to get rid of the summer inventory. To that end, we'll be having a $7 CLOTHING BAG SALE this week, September 9-12. We still have a lot of summer clothing on the racks and more will be coming out - so this is not the leftovers, this is our regular high quality merchandise, all for $7 A BAG!!! In addition, SHOES and HOUSEWARES will be 50% off this week. Come help us get ready for fall by taking some of this merchandise off our hands, at rock bottom prices. A win -win for us all!!

GROVELAND CARES
Helping Hands, our local non-profit (501 c3) Thrift Store, has a adjunct organization called GROVELAND CARES. We know that most of us want to help somehow, but don't know how. We implement this when tragedy strikes the communities or individuals. We take donations in the form of checks or cash at the Thrift Store and are CERTAIN that it's given to the victims directly, with no overhead and not to an organization that has 'administrative costs'. We research how to get the donated funds DIRECTLY to the victim(s). We'll be implementing this today and will have the 'donation tin' in the store for many weeks to come and will benefit the local TCU fire victims - and we all know that GROVELAND CARES!!!

HELPING HANDS FURNITURE BARN IS NOW LOANING MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
The Furniture Barn in downtown Groveland will now be loaning walkers, wheelchairs and other medical equipment that might be needed for a short time. Please call 209-962-6830 for instructions. We're excited to offer this free service to our community.

Look what one of our talented, creative volunteers did with an old table that was in the Barn. It looks spectacular! Some of our items just need someone with a vision to tranform them. Great job, David.
