Our family here at Double B will always be grateful for the love our community has shown us. Over the last 30 years you, our customers, have become part of our family. We are saddened that our business is permanently closed, but are continuing to trust in God's faithfulness and goodness.
Quick update over the last 2 years since Hurricane Helene changed our business overnight:
Joey and Rosalynne are officially retired and are enjoying their days serving their church and being with their grandbabies. Since October 2024 two sweet grandbabies have been added to the family: Walker Worth Burns (born December 2024) and Rylee Grace Dockins (born March 2026)
Joseph has accepted a new job with Southeast Restoration and spends his time working with others who have had their homes/businesses impacted by various situations outside of their control. It has given him such purpose to now be able to give back, and understand, when others are going through such devastating times. His wife, Samantha, is a stay at home mom to Carolina Rose (5) and Walker (1).
Savannah is currently working to get her PhD, is a trainer at a local gym, a professor at Faulkner University, as well as a mom to Emma Jo (3) and Rylee Grace. Her husband, John Logan, is now the Head Football Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Alabama Christian Academy in Montgomery, Alabama.
The plant farm will always be a part of the Burns family, and so will all of you. How loving and kind is our God to have given us something that was so heartbreaking to lose. Please continue to pray for our family in this new chapter, and we will be holding you close in prayer also.
All our love,
The Burns Family
