Got out there in mobile bay this morning and got into a few trout. 50/50 mix caught on the twist tail minnows and 4.8" big jerkeys on t3 tackle 1/8 ounce slot machine jighead.

The boat being down hasn't been all that bad lately. Throwing a rod and a wade bag of lures and hooks in the car and walking a flat waist deep is easy fishing and really gets you in touch with nature. Its an awesome way to really learn a new spot as well. You'll walk across structure, potholes and changes in bottom sediment that you'd never learn were there just drifting over it in a boat!
