It’s been a tough few days for our little slice of Panhandle Paradise. As our community continues picking up the pieces after Hurricane Isaias, our thoughts and prayers stay with everyone dealing with the aftermath.

Here at The Market, we’re thankful to have made it through with minimal damage, and we’re ready to welcome y’all back TODAY at 11 AM!

Stop for a visit, see a friendly face and relax for a few — just a little normalcy in a week that’s been anything but normal.

I don’t usually share the gifts I make, but over the years I’ve stumbled across a few people on social media whether they were going through hard times or just needed a little extra love. But this sweet boy really stuck with me, and I wanted to share what I made for him. 🤍

Asher is a 6-year-old from Arkansas who absolutely loves visiting Pensacola Beach with his family. Sadly, he is currently battling Leukemia and is too sick to make his trip to the beach this year. His mom asked on Facebook if people could write “Asher Strong” in the sand and send pictures so he could still feel connected to his favorite place.

I’ve seen so many people around Pensacola coming together for him by writing his name in the sand, sending him love, and reminding him just how special this place is. It is truly amazing to see a community rally around such a sweet child.

Asher, I hope you love this little piece of your favorite place and that it brings a little bit of the beach to you until you can visit again. 🤍🌊
