PRCC Women’s Soccer recently set aside time for a Mental Health Day focused on something bigger than the game—giving their student-athletes an opportunity to connect, reflect, and prioritize their well-being.

A special thank you to Catholic Charities for being instrumental in making this experience possible and providing valuable guidance, conversation, and resources for these young women.

Sugar Lily’s was proud to contribute a few self-care items—a simple reminder to slow down, take a moment for yourself, and remember:

I’m Enough.

We’re grateful to PRCC Women’s Soccer for allowing us to be a small part of something that matters far beyond the field. 💜

Introducing Rooted in Hope Foundation

For a while now, something has been growing quietly behind the scenes.

Today feels like the right day to finally share it.

Rooted in Hope Foundation.

Rooted in Hope was created from a belief that has become incredibly important to our family:

Hope is believing your story isn’t finished.

Sometimes hope looks like having someone sit beside you when life feels heavy.

Sometimes it’s a conversation that reminds you that you’re not alone.

Sometimes it’s an opportunity, a resource, an act of kindness, or simply someone taking the time to ask, “You good?” — and staying long enough to hear the answer.

Rooted in Hope Foundation was created to help make more of those moments possible.

Our mission is to empower individuals and communities through education, wellness, connection, and opportunity — creating meaningful ways for people to come together, support one another, and discover what’s possible.

There is a deeply personal story behind Rooted in Hope, and in time, I’ll share more of it.

But this foundation isn't only about our story.

It’s about what we can do with it.

It’s about turning love into action, loss into purpose, and hope into something we can give to someone else.

Throughout September, you’ll begin seeing some of the first projects and partnerships taking root.

Some will focus on mental health and su***de awareness.

Some will simply remind people that they matter.

And others will create opportunities to strengthen the communities around us.

This is only the beginning.

Rooted in Hope Foundation
Where Possibility Takes Root.

Because your story isn’t finished.
And neither is ours.

Day 3- Start the conversation. Talking openly about su***de reduces stigma and helps people ask for help. Here is how: samhsa.gov/find-support/helping-someone/how-to-talk-to-someone-about-help

Day 2- Learn the warning signs of su***de for the people in your life, and for yourself. Changes in mood, sleep, or behavior; withdrawing from others; talking about having no reason to live: samhsa.gov/mental-health/suicidal-behavior/warning-signs
