All proceeds from the Barkin' Basement thrift shop help support HSSM's lifesaving programs. We are always accepting donations of gently used items!

We are open to the public for shopping every Thursday & Friday from 12noon-5pm and the last Saturday of every month from 10am-4pm. Barkin' Basement is the Humane Society of South Mississippi's on-site Thrift Store (located inside our facility at 2615 25th Ave, Gulfport, MS 39501). We also have upscale and brand new items as part of the Fashion Hounds Boutique. We offer an amazing selection of gent

ly used clothes, books, toys, household items, décor, furniture, kitchenware, and more at the lowest prices in town! Come in and see what unusual or unique items you can find while helping us save lives! HSSM's on-site Thrift Store hours are 12noon-5pm Thursday & Friday, and 10am-4pm on the last Saturday of every month for our $10 bag sale! Seniors, military, and first responders can also receive 20% off their entire purchase every Thursday and keep an eye out on our page for special sales each Friday!
