Tomorrow, Saturday, June 6th, The Good Dig will be closed.

After many discussions and attempts to find the perfect time, we realized there is never a perfect time to say goodbye to our beloved Bruce.

I adopted Bruce in Virginia after he was no longer wanted and was full of heartworms. I brought him back from the brink when he was just 18 months old. He is now 12 years old and has been through everything with me.

His first car ride was scary for him, but before long he became a true road dog, traveling through many states by my side. At nearly every pit stop, someone would ask, “Is that a bear?” He loved walking through creeks and streams with me, but absolutely hated the ocean. We wrestled often. He was always right there—sometimes a little too close and underfoot. He never met another animal he couldn’t get along with, and he always kept a watchful eye on the babies.

Bruce has always known when it was a good day or a bad day. He knew when to celebrate and when to simply be there, offering love, comfort, and a reason to slow down and breathe without expectations.

I love my black knight. And the truth is, while I may have saved him all those years ago, in many ways, he saved me too.

$5 (small green bag),
$10 (big green bag),
$15 (black bag)

Remember these simples rules though:
- Can NOT overflow
- Can NOT have items hanging out
- ALL items MUST fit in the bag
- HAVE A GOOD TIME!!!
