*** Event Traffic Advisory – Mountain Lakes Triathlon****

The Guntersville City Police Department would like to notify the public that the Mountain Lakes Triathlon will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

To ensure the safety of participants, volunteers, and motorists, there will be a right-hand lane closure beginning at 6:00 a.m. on the inbound side of Warrenton Causeway on AL Highway 69, for traffic traveling from the direction of Arab into Guntersville.

Please expect delays in the area and use extra caution when traveling through the event route.

We ask that motorists:

•Slow down and remain alert.
•Watch for officers, event staff, and participants.
•Consider allowing extra travel time or using an alternate route if possible.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to provide a safe event for everyone involved.

Additional traffic updates will be provided if needed.
