Tonya gave us one star and called us “a woke disaster.” So we had it fired into a mug.

Mr. Darcy, shop dog and professional basset, gives it five stars and says Tonya can keep hers.

Pre-orders are OPEN for this colorway — speckled stoneware, blue drip glaze, rainbow letters, handmade by TBH-Art. No two are the same, so yours will be genuinely yours. Turnaround is 2–3 weeks; it’s a long process and worth the wait.

We cannot believe it’s almost here!!

On Saturday our whole downtown turns into Stars Hollow.

The diner, the market, the antiques store, the soda shoppe, every one of them opening their doors and playing along, grab a passport and make your way through the whole town. Live music, the coffee cart, local authors, and our sweet pups in the middle of all of it.

And because we wanted you to have something to keep, we made these. The back is our actual downtown, drawn out building by building. Every single one is a real place you can walk into on Saturday. And the pocket
— the POCKET — has Miss Lizzie in a backwards cap and we have not recovered.

2026 only. Pre-orders close Tuesday at midnight and then they’re gone. Pick yours up at the shop Saturday or we’ll ship it to you.

🥚 Kirk had ONE job. Naturally, the whole town is now involved.

Join Kirk’s Egg Hunt during our Stars Hollow Fall Celebration on Saturday, September 19, from 10 AM to 6 PM! 🍂☕️

Start at A Novel Idea Bookshop and scan the QR code available the day of the event to find the clues to all 18 hidden eggs around our participating Stars Hollow stops!

🥚 Follow the clues to each egg.
🔤 Save each egg’s letter in your phone, matching it to its clue number.
🕵️ Put the letters in order to reveal Kirk’s secret message!
📚 Come back to the bookshop and tell us the secret message to receive a special “I Survived Kirk’s Egg Hunt” bookmark!

Please leave the eggs where you find them so everyone can play. No purchase necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to get caught up in Kirk’s latest scheme.
