Meet Rosalind, October’s Year of DK Hats design.

Inspired by the intricate knitting traditions of Bavaria, Rosalind features twisted-stitch cables that create a maze of traveling stitches. Worked seamlessly from the bottom up, it’s a great way to practice charts, cables, and repeating stitch patterns.

Each kit includes Germantown DK wool, a custom leather hat tag, stitch markers, a darning needle, and a link to download the Rosalind Hat pattern.

A new project has joined our Fall Make-Along! 🍂

The Assemblage Shawl by Stephen West is knit with three shades of Kelbourne Woolens Perennial and works through a sampler of stitches and textures as the shawl grows—making every section a little different from the last.

The contrasting border even gives you a gentle introduction to the basic idea behind intarsia, used here in a simple, approachable way. It’s just enough to try something new without making the whole shawl about intarsia.
