Peter Dinklage to Star in Adaptation of ‘The Thicket’
Peter Dinklage is attached to star in the adaptation of author Joe Lansdale’s crime thriller “The Thicket” for Gianni Nunnari’s production company Hollywood Gang.

The pic will be produced by Nunnari. Dinklage and his long-time manager David Ginsberg will also produce through their newly formed production company. Shannon Gaulding, who works with Nunnari, will also serve as producer on the project.

Box Office: 'Maze Runner' Crushes 'Walk Among the Tombstones' With $32.5M

Shawn Levy's adult dramedy 'This Is Where I Leave You' comes in No. 3

Proving that a boy-centric YA film adaptation can click, 20th Century Fox's teen-powered The Maze Runner opened to a pleasing $32.5 million at the North American box office, more than double the $13.1 million debut of Liam Neeson's R-rated action offering A Walk Among the Tombstones.

Colin Farrell confirms: I'm starring in 'True Detective' Season 2
Colin Farrell is your new "True Detective."

After weeks of speculation, the "Saving Mr. Banks" actor has confirmed he'll be starring in Season 2 of the HBO crime drama, telling the Sunday World: "I’m doing the second series. I’m so excited." He then added: "I know it will be eight episodes and take around four or five months to shoot. I know very little about it, but we’re shooting in the environs of Los Angeles which is great. It means I get to stay at home and see the kids."

Youth will be served at the box office this weekend, when the sci-fi thriller “The Maze Runner” is expected to beat out two wide openers that target older moviegoers: Liam Neeson‘s “A Walk Among the Tombstones” and the comedy “This Is Where I Leave You.”

Box Office: ‘No Good Deed’ Tops ‘Dolphin Tale 2′ With $24.5 Million

“No Good Deed” topped the box office this weekend and helped reinvigorate a floundering domestic movie business.

The Sony/Screen Gems thriller took in $24.5 million from 2,175 theaters, easily beating expectations. Going into the weekend, analysts expected the home invasion thriller to hover around $20 million. Females made up the bulk of the audience, taking up 60% of the seats in theaters, and 41% of ticket-buyers were under 30 years old.
