There is a saying in our family -- the best ingredients are the ones the earth gives you freely.

Growing up, we were taught to look to nature first. The aloe from the yard. The herbs drying in the kitchen. The oils pressed and poured with patience. These were not luxury items -- they were daily care, passed from hand to hand through generations.
