Did you know you should still install your queen even if she arrives DOA.

If your queen arrives dead, go ahead and install her as you normally would.

Even though the queen is no longer alive, her pheromones are still present and can help prevent the colony from absconding due to the absence of a queen.

Important:
If your queen arrives dead or damaged, please report it within 24 hours of receipt.

To process a replacement, we require:
-A clear photo of the dead queen
-A photo of the shipping label

If you're a beginner beekeeper, take a few minutes to practice putting on your protective gear before working with your bees for the first time.
A quick trial run can help you feel more confident, comfortable, and ready when it’s time to work with the bees.
Pro tip: If you have long hair, tie it back so it stays out of the zipper and helps prevent gaps between your jacket and veil.
