Maximum Effort Outdoors Guide Come & enjoy a guided fishing trip on Lake Hopatcong, Spruce Run & Oxford Lake or wading the Musconetcong River or South Branch of the Raritan River for trout.

My name is Mark Applegit; I have been fishing Lake Hopatcong for over 30 years. Growing up next to the lake, I was fishing there every day after school. I have spent countless days & hours on Lake Hopatcong fishing for bass, pickerel & hybrid striped bass. As I got older I started fishing bass tournaments on Lake Hopatcong & other tournaments on the Hudson River, Susquehanna Flats, Potomac River a

nd Greenwood Lake. When not on Hopatcong, I fish for steelhead on the Salmon River, or bonefish in the Bahamas, Bermuda, and Aruba. Come and enjoy a guided fishing trip on Lake Hopatcong in a fully rigged Ranger Boat. Any level of fishing experience is welcome. Fishing gear, tackle & bait provided. You will need to bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, raingear, drinks, food & a NJ fishing license. You are welcome to bring your own fishing tackle.
8hrs. $300.00
I also guide on the Musconetcong River, South Branch of the Raritan River for trout with spinning gear or you can learn to float fish with a centerpin reel. These trips are a half day walking guided river fishing with a morning or afternoon fishing. You will need to bring waders. Tackle, bait and lures are provided.
4-5hrs. $125.00
