As I pack up my EPIC office and sort through the last of the retail items, I thank the cottage at one Ferry Road for being an amazing, peaceful space to grow my publishing company and have a small retail shop in for the past four years.
In not renewing my lease, I have given an opportunity for a young female entrepreneur to be able to follow her dream (stay tuned to see what exciting new business moves in) as well as made donations of items I couldn’t sell to East Haddam Youth and Family Services, the library, and a fundraising event for an area farm that suffered a tragic loss.
It truly is bittersweet as I pack up and prepare for my next chapter and close the door on this one, but am moving forward with grace and a smile.
Home publishing office here I come (again).
