A trip of a lifetime. This story comes from Sylas Barrett Macky Drake Lovlien Caleo Morrison :
“The four of us started daydreaming about a trip to Canada almost a year ago. When we finally departed after months of planning, it still didn’t feel real. After a 10-hour drive, we finally pulled into a small town about an hour from the border. That night, we ended up staying in a friend’s driveway. On our first morning in Canada, we stopped by a few local fly shops to get some information on the rivers. For the next few days, we bounced around one of the two rivers we had planned to fish. We spent our time finding new spots and revisiting the ones that produced fish. Each day, we fished from around 6:00 in the morning until 10:00 at night, dawn to dusk, with only a few breaks to fuel up on food. After seven full days of fishing, we landed over bull trout, dealt with two problems with our van, lost one rod tip, ran out of water four times, fell in too many times to count, and made a million memories.”
