My journey into cardmaking began in 2016 with a simple, heartfelt decision: to craft a handmade card for an 80th birthday celebration at our church. Though I had dabbled in scrapbooking, cardmaking was a new adventure—and that first project sparked an enduring love for creating meaningful, shareable pieces of art. What started as a personal hobby quickly blossomed. Friends and

community members began requesting custom cards, each one unique and filled with love. With their encouragement, I began offering my designs for sale, and it’s been such a joy ever since. Each card I create is thoughtfully made with someone in mind—transforming a simple greeting into a cherished keepsake. As a disabled stay-at-home wife of 29 years, and proud mom to two grown daughters, a wonderful son-in-law, and two beautiful grandchildren, this creative path has brought purpose and connection into my life. Through cardmaking, I’ve found a way to share love, joy, and care—and to help others do the same through the cards they give. Have you ever heard the saying, “Don’t let the sun go down on your anger”?

“Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. ‘In your anger do not sin’: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.”

If you don’t deal with that anger, it rises again—just as sure as the sun does. It becomes the planting of a bad seed. And as you dwell on it throughout the day, you’re watering that seed without even realizing it.

But one bad seed can ruin an entire crop. It can choke out growth, block the harvest, and leave you starving—starving of hope, starving of peace, starving of the joy God intended for you. 🤔 Random thoughts. 🥰

But apparently Grok draws the line at identifying which gold cardstock I used… so now I’m over here trying to match a mystery gold like it’s a forensic investigation 🤦🏼‍♀️

Why do I own so many different shades of “gold” cardstock. Truly, the chaos is self‑inflicted at this point 🥴

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that God not only hears our prayers, but treasures them — “golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.” (Rev 5:8b)

If you’re carrying sincere, heartfelt prayers, speak them. He hears every word, and He gathers each one with care. No one collects what isn’t precious to them… not even God. 🥰
