Haleʻiwa Store Lots Shopping center located in the heart of Hale‘iwa on O‘ahu's North Shore. Welcome! All of our merchants are unique, friendly and memorable.

Hale‘iwa Store Lots is a plantation-inspired collection of retail, dining, art and gathering spaces that pay homage to the North Shore’s unique and vivid history, seamlessly merging the old with the new. Each store is either locally-owned or has roots in the North Shore community. Paying tribute to the former Waialua Store Lots that once operated here as the gathering spot in plantation days, Hale‘iwa Store Lots evokes memories of a time when locals would gather amongst the community’s small businesses and establishments and talk story. Long before Haleʻiwa Store Lots became a place to shop, eat, and gather, this area held stories shaped by generations of people, place, and community. 🌿

Historic Haleʻiwa Town spans the makai region of the ahupuaʻa of Kawailoa and Paʻalaʻa in the district of Waialua. Traditionally a place of royal residence and spiritual significance, and later a hub of commerce and community fellowship, Haleʻiwa has long been associated with hospitality, generosity, and caring for the needs of others.

Those layers of history can still be found in the names throughout Haleʻiwa Store Lots. Even “Store Lots” pays homage to the plantation era and a common naming convention for retail spaces of that time.

Keiki Halloween is coming to Haleʻiwa Store Lots on Saturday, October 24! Bring the ʻohana for our annual Keiki Halloween Costume Contest & Trick-or-Treat, and a day of Halloween fun in the heart of the North Shore. 🧡🖤

The Kamehamalu Courtyard is a familiar gathering place at Haleʻiwa Store Lots, but there’s history behind its name. 🌺

Victoria Kamāmalu, also known as Kamehamalu, was a high-ranking aliʻi and served as Kuhina Nui of the Hawaiian Kingdom. During the Māhele, she was awarded the ahupuaʻa of Kawailoa and Paʻalaʻa in Waialua—lands closely connected to the Haleʻiwa we know today. The courtyard was named Kamehamalu in her honor.

In recognition of Hawaiian History Month, we’re sharing the people and stories reflected in the names throughout Haleʻiwa Store Lots. The next time you spend a moment in Kamehamalu Courtyard, you’ll know a little more about the aliʻi whose name it carries. 🤍
