Sherper's is now available on DoorDash!

That's right... when you have a hankering for some MREs or freeze dried food when the lunch hour hits, you can now have some Astronaut Ice Cream delivered right to your door. 😉

Or, maybe more practically, if you are planning a weekend camping trip and realized you need more sunscreen, bug spray, or hiking shoes, hop on over to DoorDash and select your gear to have dropped off at your home - saving you the trip of driving into town. 🌲🏕

A few weeks ago, we had the privilege of celebrating Tom Spalding and his incredible 25 years at Sherper’s.

Anyone who knows Tom knows his greatest gift isn’t just the work he’s done here at Sherper’s, but the way he’s approached life. Tom has always been endlessly curious, eager to learn something new, generous with his knowledge, and passionate about sharing his love of the outdoors with others. Even as he celebrates this milestone, he continues to inspire all of us with his youthful spirit, enthusiasm, and sense of adventure.

To honor that legacy, we were proud to establish The Tom Spalding Growth & Exploration Award, and it was only fitting that Tom become its inaugural recipient.

Each year, this award will recognize a Sherper’s team member who demonstrates the same spirit of curiosity, lifelong learning, mentorship, and exploration that Tom has embodied throughout his career. Recipients will receive a grant to pursue educational opportunities or meaningful experiences that encourage personal growth, skill development, exploration, or service to others, continuing the values that Tom has lived every day.

Tom, we thank you for 25 remarkable years of dedication, friendship, and inspiration. Your impact on Sherper’s extends far beyond the years you’ve worked here, and through this award, your legacy will continue to inspire future generations of our team.
