It’s a fabulous day on the coast, albeit a little gusty !Wouldn’t it be great to head on home then fill the Japanese soaking tub (hinoki wooden bath) and have a good long soak. Letting that heavenly heat permeate your body. Unfortunately I don’t have such a tub at home. This one is located at Tsuki Hotel in Tokyo. I stayed there last November and enjoyed the quiet and comfortable rooms, the wonderful staff and of course the soaking tub.

Follow-up to yesterday’s post. Over night a second pod opened up and produced another beautiful bloom. Brought a real smile to my face when I opened the store. There are many words to describe plants. The two that pop into my head are mysterious and wonderful.

Fund raising for ALAS (Ayudando Latinos A Sonar). Well that didn’t take long. Because of a donation from Rudy Garcia, owner of Rudy’s Greenhouses, we were able to sell two Monstera Albos, which are rare plants. All proceeds will be going to the ALAS Farmworker’s Fund to aid them in this very important work. The customer in the photo wished to remain anonymous. For more information about ALAS check out
