We are here...set up and ready! TONS of tomatoes, lettuce, squash, and baked goods. We have all the regulars plus flatbread and focaccia. If you like a seasoned or savory bread...you have got to try the focaccia. Take something special to your labor day event...from scratch double chocolate brownies, or freshly canned peaches to top off your ice cream.

Today is Friday and we have been harvesting all morning! Come by Saturday and get your tomatoes...we have 9 plus bushels of cherry varieties to LARGE slicers. We also will have muffins, flat bread, focaccia, loaf bread, and coffee cakes. With the garden producing, we have been canning. Check out our 17 flavors of jam and jelly, our preserves and our fruit syrups. And for those of you asking for it, we have made and bottled our popular maple syrup in larger containers. Fresh produce, home baked goods, and hand canned selections...it's all here Saturday 8-12 downtown Mainstreet Halstead.

Runneth Over WILL set up today! We are waiting for the rain to pass. Look for us at 9 this morning. We have lots of tomatoes

RUNNETH OVER will be set up on Main street in Halstead directly south of the Halstead Bank. The garden is pouring in so we will be bringing more than usual. WE HAVE TOMATOES!! We have harvested about 8 bushels this week. Some cherry tomatoes, some plum/paste tomatoes, and lots of slicers...from small salad types to really large beefsteak. The slicers range from 4 ounce to over a lb each. We also have been canning and have stock of all our products. And today we are baking...lots and lots of breads, breakfast cakes, jumbo cinnamon rolls and cookies. Check out of foccacia selection and our flatbreads. No one can beat the beauty or flavor of our son's artisan breads...no oil, no sugar. Our hours are 8am to 12noon. Come by and see our selection of great home grown, home canned, and home baked items!

GOOD MORNING! Didn't summer fly by? Well, everything except the temperature...it is hot. The kids are back in school (my last one is in her last semester of college) and a thousand events are being placed on your calendar...sports...music...clubs... This Saturday temps will drop to the mid 90's, and it is even cooler in the morning. That's when we set up...ready for you to stop by and purchase your favorites. The garden is begging for Air Conditioning, but still producing in spite of the heat. We have harvested a full bushel of tomatoes for this week and there are hundreds of green and growing on our 210 tomato plants. Come by and get bread and jelly for school lunch sandwiches (does anyone do that anymore) and tomatoes and lettuce for your BLT. All literally HOME grown. Even the honey is local (1 mile south of Halstead).
HEY! We are starting a "jar return" punch card this week. If you bring back one of our jars to us, we will punch your card. 10 jars equals a full card which can be redeemed for 10.00 worth of jar product or fresh produce. It's a way to help preserve our resources.

If you're coming to Halstead for the parade or spending the morning enjoying the Old Settlers Day festivities, be sure to stop by our stand. We'll be open Saturday, August 8, from 8:00 a.m. to noon at our usual location just south of the Halstead Bank.

Come early for the best selection. This week we'll have:
• Fresh zucchini
• Fresh tomatoes
• Sweet canned Colorado peaches
• Homemade jellies, marmalades, and syrups
• Fresh baked breads and other baked goods
• Plenty of homemade salsa
• Warm cinnamon rolls with frosting, ready to eat
