My friends. You seriously know how to make a girl feel loved beyond measure! 🥹🥰 Today was my first day selling at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival 🥳🎉, and in true “me” fashion, I absolutely beefed it racing to my booth just before cannon and took a tumble down a hill 😑
To everyone who stopped by my booth or sent folks to check on me or brought me treats or first aid - thank you so friggen much 🥹😭🥰😍 I don’t know how I got so lucky to have so many guardian angels, but I love you all to the moon and back! I cannot thank you enough for your support, kindness, generosity and concern. I am overwhelmed with gratitude 🫶🫶🫶
For those of yall who want to know the details: apparently I got in a few rolls after rolling my ankle on a rock😵💫 The kind neighbors next to us happened to be traversing the hill at a much more sedate (and safe) pace and offered to provide an assist, but I didn’t quite have my bearings, so I sat for a spell until I was less dizzy (which I couldn’t explain at the time, and was very confused by my ample dusting of grass 😅) A kind lady from the Viking encampment saw that I was taking a minute to get back up, and came and sat with me until I felt up for hobbling to the booth with her assistance (you’re amazing, thank you!) When the lovely Safety Service woman came to check on me (no concussion, but couldn’t explain the dizziness because it happened so fast I didn’t realize I rolled 🤪), she said it wouldn’t hurt to go to a doctor. So, tomorrow I will (very sadly and with reluctance) be foregoing fest (at least for the morning) so I can go get checked out.
