the sky really showed off with this one

photographer mark ham captured this nearly full moon appearing inside a rainbow over bateman, a suburb of perth, western australia, around sunrise in may 2024. the rainbow was created by sunlight passing through raindrops, while the moon happened to sit near the antisolar point in the same part of the sky. with the timing, weather and viewing angle lining up perfectly, the final result looked almost too perfectly arranged to be real.

Tomorrow is never guaranteed, and yesterday cannot be bought back, no matter how wealthy you become. Stay humble, appreciate what you have, and remember that life’s greatest gifts are often the ones money can’t purchase.

Stop taking everything personally. People’s actions often reflect their inner struggles, not your worth. You don’t need to absorb every opinion, criticism, or negative mood. Protect your peace, let go of what you cannot control, and choose inner freedom.
