I current work as a Social Worker/ family support specialist by day and customize party decorations on my free time. I started little cuties boutique when coming across some decision about where Emmaleenah, my oldest, would go to school. After doing some research on how the school system in the area we live in stands, I fought with this internal battle of I want better, I want to do better, I want
her to her to be able to be the best her that she can be. My husband and I couldn't agree on where to send her. He believed that if you put a child in school they will learn if they want to learn where on the other hand I believe that education is an investment and the environment has to be created and nutured. I do not want Emmaleenah or Esmeriah to struggle as I did. Growing up was hard when I had two parent who did not have a high school diploma. I am not shaming my parents because I believe they did the best they could with what they were handed. I am not here to say my story is better or worst then anyone else. I know everyone has a story and everyone is working through theirs. As Parents, we want our children stand on our shoulders and after work for my current employer I have adopted some of their philosophy. Parents are their child first teacher and although I would love to homeschool my girls it is not possible because we need both of our incomes to survive. I know my daughter needs more exposure opportunity for social interaction because she struggles with social events and engaging with others if I am not around. I love what I do for work. I love I am able to support other families in their journey. I also know that what I do does not pay enough. I enjoy creating and problem solving and I am really good at those skills. I enjoy bring joy to someones' special day. In all of this I want you to love you, do you, and be cute. If I can eliminate some of the work by providing customizable party decoration so that you have more time to Be cute.
