Whether you’re fishing Keuka Lake, Waneta Lake, Lamoka Lake, Seneca Lake, Cayuga Lake, or Canandaigua Lake, summer fishing continues to improve across the Finger Lakes.

🌤️ LOCAL WEATHER

Warm summer weather is expected throughout the week.

Friday: Warm with a chance of scattered afternoon thunderstorms.

Saturday & Sunday: Excellent fishing weather with light winds and comfortable temperatures.

Monday & Tuesday: Hot and humid with afternoon storm chances. Plan on fishing early morning or late evening.

Wednesday & Thursday: Slightly cooler with improving conditions and excellent fishing weather.

🎣 LOCAL FISHING REPORT

🌊 Keuka Lake
Lake trout continue to provide consistent action over deeper water. Smallmouth bass remain active on rocky points and drop-offs, while largemouth bass are holding around docks and w**d edges. Perch, crappie, and bluegill continue to improve.

🏞️ Waneta & Lamoka Lakes
Excellent opportunities for largemouth bass, northern pike, crappie, perch, and bluegill. Fish w**d beds, channels, and shoreline structure during the early morning and evening hours.

🐟 Seneca Lake
Lake trout remain the top target, with rainbow trout, brown trout, and landlocked salmon also providing opportunities. Bass fishing continues to improve around shoreline structure.

🚤 Cayuga & Canandaigua Lakes
Lake trout fishing remains steady, while smallmouth and largemouth bass continue feeding around points, drop-offs, docks, and w**d edges.

🌿 Local Streams & Tributaries
Early mornings continue to provide the best opportunities for trout, bass, and panfish before the afternoon heat sets in.
