Finally!!! A not broken laser!!!!

Our amazing D1 Pro died after several years of usage and was always reliable, but was significantly slower.

Our new machine just did in 2mins what the D1 Pro did in 15-20!!!

There were two tornadoes.

Based on the time stamps and the time of the event at Liberty Fest, I think we went through the forming of this tornado prior to its touchdown only a handful of miles down the road.

I am thanking God almighty that not only had I taken our children home, but that we weren’t injured.

I have never experienced anything like this. And being 6 months pregnant, I am so shook up, that I woke up and saw this confirmation, and emotionally almost never want to do a vendor market again…

We have actually hired someone to help us finish our website because I am so shook up.. I stood there holding onto our tent for dear life for what seemed like forever, 6 months pregnant, and opened my eyes seeing no one rushing to aid a very pregnant woman and just felt so extremely vulnerable and afraid that I genuinely am not upset to be taking maternity leave after Spot Festival in November.

I came to find out a few men were helping hold onto our tent, but during the event, I was unable to see them.. I genuinely was terrified and felt so alone and vulnerable.

I am so thankful for their assistance, whoever they were, plus the wonderful family who helped us pick up our things…. But that moment of fear I will never forget. And I am just thanking Christ Almighty that I had taken our children home not 15 minutes before this.

Well - today started out beautiful.

But ended pretty badly with a storm. We experienced a microburst as we were breaking down and lost our tent along with likely thousands of dollars worth of inventory, plus several display stands.

We want to send a shout out to the Tobin family for their assistance in picking up our remaining inventory and loading up our trailer while I got checked out by medical.

I did have a display stand fall on me, but I managed to catch it rather than get hit by it. But I had to only seconds later jump up and hang onto our tent which absolutely blue away…

I was very shook up so I just asked medical to check my BP and pulse which was fine, thankfully. But I’m still pretty shook up.

I want to extend our prayers to the other vendors affected by this nature event. I learned there was a tornado only a few miles from where we were. We have some friends at RhiMi Creations LLC who also had damages.. we are extending our prayers to all effected including the families who were still leaving and the children who were so scared and screaming 😞

We hope to see everyone out today!

We have very few markets scheduled for the remainder of the year. But today, we will be in Holly Ridge for their annual Liberty Festival!

Epoxy tables will be on clearance, and we have several new 3D prints that will be available!

We also finally have a new laser due to arrive in 2 weeks, so for all your custom ornaments or wood engravings, we’ll finally be able to start taking those orders!

We are scheduled to be at Autumn At Topsail October 16-18 and at the Spot Festival November 7-8, however those are the only markets we currently have scheduled.

After SpotFest, we will be taking a leave of absence from vending while we prepare for our coming addition. We received word this past week that there are more complications than we anticipated this pregnancy and therefore baby girl will need to make her debut about 4 weeks early, just after Thanksgiving, via c-section.

We won’t be closing our doors, however we will be transitioning to orders only, which at the moment can only be made via Facebook while we are still trying to get our website up and running.

Unfortunately, we have had to bow out of our market in castle hayne today.

I had to have emergent pregnancy related surgery on Thursday and the venue simply isn’t appropriate for my condition at this time.

Good morning everyone!!

I know it has been quite a while since we have posted, but we wanted to make you aware of some things regarding our business.

Firstly - YES we are still OPEN and taking orders via Facebook messaging!

However, we have not been doing any markets this summer as I’m sure our friends, family, and regular shoppers have noticed.

At the end of May, we lost our beloved grandmother quickly and unexpectedly to heart failure. As the only local family members, and being a young family, it’s been a challenge dealing with freshly summer released children (and all their travel plans), handle remaining affairs (including moving of belongings), home construction for other family moving in with us, and comprehend going to vendor shows during this time of additional stress all while pregnant - not to mention, our pregnancy is considered high risk. And just within the last week, we have learned that we may need to begin considering moving in my elderly parents which would require a MASSIVE home construction project.

With Michael being a disabled veteran and me not able to assist with set up for vendor events, we essentially just didn’t apply to any vendor shows. It’s all just been too much. So yes, we’ve taken a step back, but we aren’t shut down; just heavily occupied within our personal life.

That being said, we DO have a vendor show in the Wilmington area on 8/15. I will need to locate the details, however this event was booked just prior to the death of our loved one, so with pregnancy brain, I have to locate it. Beyond that, I don’t believe we are scheduled for any other markets until RIVERFEST in Wilmington.

We are due with a baby girl this Christmas: yes, 12/25. And I usually have a habit of giving birth a week or two early. This means that this year will likely be our last for vendor shows for a time and we will likely move to an online-only presence. For that, we need to find someone to create a functional and easy to navigate webspace for our company which costs money our little business currently has to use towards all the other priorities.

We ask that you please be patient with us. This has been an INCREDIBLY challenging season.

But we are here - on Facebook - and available to place orders for pick-up in Surf City, meet ups, and we do offer nationwide shipping.

Please don’t hesitate to send us a message in the mean time, and we will do our very best to accommodate and complete any possible requests. And we ask for forgiveness and grace if we fumbled with communications during these last 6 months. It’s been an incredibly overwhelming time for us and our family and we appreciate your loyalty and understanding and grace during this time.
