I think I was built to feel everything too deeply
To be honest in a world that rewards silence
My mind doesn’t come in straight lines
it comes in layers, in waves, in noise I can’t always explain
And most of the time, it feels like walking alone through something no one else can see
Your feelings matter
You get to take up space
You get to try and navigate the alarms in your brain, even when they’re loud and overwhelming
Life isn’t easy at its core
so move through it at your own pace
there’s no right way to figure yourself out
give yourself grace.
