Every puppy leaves a paw print on our hearts before they leave our home.🐾💗 While saying goodbye never gets easier, seeing families like this reminds me why we do it. The excitement, the smiles, and the love already surrounding this little girl tell me she’s exactly where she’s meant to be.

People often ask us, “How do you do it when it’s time to let the puppies go?” The short answer? We hate it. 🥹🐾. The longer answer is that we pray for the very best families, and God has been so faithful to send them.

This sweet family was absolutely perfect for Joy, who is now Roxanne! (As soon as we heard that name we were like YESSS!)💗🤩 From the moment they met her, they showered her with love. Her playful, energetic personality has found the perfect home, and that brings so much peace to my heart.

Don’t panic! She wasn’t being chased by the vacuum. She climbed out of the pool and was curious so I let her explore for a minute.🐾💗

A couple of fun facts about puppies at 4 weeks old:

🐾 Their hearing and vision are improving rapidly, which means they’re starting to explore the world with more curiosity.

🐾 This is an important socialization stage, where gentle exposure to different sights, sounds, and experiences can help build confidence.

🐾 They’re so much fun! We’re handling them more, picking them up, rubbing bellies, and getting them used to interacting. They’re also starting a bedtime routine.😊

When you’re only 4 weeks old and already convinced you’re in charge of household cleaning supervision, I think you’re adjusting well to puppy life.🐶🧹😂
