In honor of my granddaughter who started out her journey into this world by spending over six weeks in the NICU, I am creating "Tiny But Mighty" gift sets for new NICU families. They will include a NICU journal and pen set for mom and dad to journal and write down important notes, a tote bag to use for the many back and forth trips to the hospital that they will make and a onesie for their little fighter 💪. I can't wait to post the final product!

Had a productive weekend, fulfilled a couple of orders and worked on some Valentine's and St. Patrick's Day items. Finished up my grandfather's shadowbox and placed it up in the craft room. As I mentioned before, I started this venture to create memories with my grandchildren just as my grandparents did with me as a child. My grandfather had an old run down shed in the back yard that he would spend hours upon hours out there working on projects in. And despite the fact that I probably drove him nuts at times, especially when he likely went out there to have some peace and quiet...lol, he always made it a point to teach me something new or find some fun craft project to do with me. I can still smell the aroma of fresh cut wood and feel the sawdust between my toes. On the weekends, we would go to Paul's Arts and Crafts to get supplies and then head next door to High's Ice Cream and get a treat before heading back to our adventures. He would get butter pecan, and it was always bright pink bubblegum ice cream for me. I will treasure those memories forever and hope to share them with the new generation ❤️
