As most of you know,

John and I (Alfred) have been doing this for over 5 years now. We love our staff, the friends we have made, and the community we are a part of. 🖤

Owning a business is a lot of work(iykyk) We both work full-time at our day jobs while also going to school. We want to shift our focus toward our educational goals, while also exploring other business opportunities. It has become extremely difficult balancing school, work, family, health, and running a business.

The Moon Room is always evolving, and we feel like it's time for us to evolve into our next phase as well. We don't know exactly when or what that will look like yet, but we wanted to put it out there.

We are forever grateful and blessed by everyone who has supported us throughout the years. The Moon Room would not be what it is today without all of you.

Late post*
May marked The Moon Room's 5th anniversary as a brick-&-mortar business.

I found a photo of us on our very first day standing in a very empty store. We had no clue what we were doing. We had very little product. We spent sooooooo much time in the shop we might as well have lived there.

These 5 years have been a wild ride!
We have learned sooooooooo much. We went on to open more locations, businesses, and brands, growing to almost 30 amazing and talented employees. We have made so many amazing friends and helped build a community along the way.

I was looking at our numbers from the past 5 years, and we've had over 98,000 transactions!!!!

We are forever grateful to every customer, employee, artist, vendor, and friend who has supported us or helped us on this journey. We truly couldn't have done it without you. Especially without our team!

These past 5 years have been a roller coaster, but we have loved every minute of it. Alfred and John have new career, education, and business goals they want to focus on, so keep an eye out for any changes that may be coming soon.

This isn't goodbye just yet, We are working to find someone to pass the torch to.

Though we don't know exactly what's next for The Moon Room 🌙, we are incredibly grateful and thankful for every single one of you that has and continues to support our team. 🖤
