Every wedding has a cherry-on-top moment.
Not on the wedding day itself, but sometime afterward. It may arrive days later; it may take a week. Until then, the event hangs in an awkward place in time. It's technically over, yet somehow still unfinished.
Then comes that glorious, shiny, sticky moment.
The bride reaches out to tell you her flowers were beautiful.
In an instant, the weight of every decision, every stem, every early morning, every late night, and every ounce of nervous energy melts away. It feels a little like winning a championship title or scoring the game-winning touchdown. All the work, all the hope, and all the worry suddenly find their place.
The bride is happy. The flowers were beautiful. They mattered.
And that sweet, shiny moment sticks with me forever.
Only then is the story complete. Only then is the file truly closed.
