Nitro Late Model was a great showing at Staub Brothers' RC Speedway. We feel its back! We tested an engine that could be today's replacement for engines that are no longer easily available. So people are knocking the shelf dust off and bringing 'em back out. Jeff Greenly showed up from Delaware with his 10 plus year old BMS late model and put it in the winners circle like the old days! Alexander Popp took TQ with a killer pass in qualifying. His tried n trued BMS Nitro Bullet runs amazingly like it did back in the day!

Racers are coming out of the woodwork with their ears perked up. Its a good feeling. We will do our best as a small company to provide an updated continuation of an amazing platform. Improvements have already started and will continue to advance. Give us a minute to figure some things out and we will offer the best car we can!

Where's nitro going??? Wherever the racers choose to take it. OverDrive RC along with Staub Brothers' RC Speedway will support it as we recently have been.

Staubs!!! 8-29

Joe Mayne hung in for a 2nd with his fast Jester Midget!

John McDaniel won 21.5 Late Model. Tony Little had an awesome run in second. Congrats to Matthew Abey for showing up the field taking TQ honors!

Nathan Staub stuck it out in 17.5 Late Model for the W! Chris Kennedy rolled in 3rd with his BMS Bullet.

Guy Intelisano took the silver in his BMS after winning last week!

Good evening racers. Here is most if not all the information you all have been waiting on.

The control tire for the 5 2.2 rubber tire classes for 2026 is the Pro-Motion Slicks. You will be required to purchase these from the hobby shop at MAP pricing or cheaper at the race. They will become available at 5pm on Wednesday night of the Prelude so everyone is on the same page with the control tire. You can purchase as many or as few of sets as you wish but they will be marked and they will be tech'd.

MOTORS: 🚀 (Edited 8/31)

All motors will need to be ROAR approved by 9/1/26 to be used in this years Dixie Nationals. That means all non-epoxy and epoxy style motors.

Sign-Ups: 💻

Signups will be live on RCSignup on September 7th. You must be registered and paid for at least one class by 9/16 to receive the free event shirt. Please make sure your shirt size is correct in your RCSignup profile to ensure you get the right size. You will not receive a different size than what you have in your profile.

- 13.5 Sprint Car (RT)
- Mod Sprint Car (RT)
- 21.5 Late Model
- 17.5 Late Model
- 13.5 Late Model (RT)

- Mod EMD
- Midget (RT)
- Super Street (RT)
- Losi NASCAR (Local Class)
- Losi Late Model (Local Class)

If you run 21.5 Late Model you can not run any "MOD" classes.

Troy Rhoten put Joe Mayne's fast Jester midget on the podium.

Kevin Markle top qualified and won nitro late model with his fuel Bullet.

The Dans took 2nd n 3rd in open late model. Dan Schaper took tq honors.

Matt Abey and Tanner Welk put em on the podium in 21.5 late model

Podium BMS racers 8/9/26 !

Kevin Markle was 2nd in Midget driving Joe Mayne's Jester

John McDaniel had the clay figured out and took TQ honors and the W in 21.5 late model! Matt Abey brought home silver and Mike Reinhardt was 3rd!

Alex Popp was 3rd in the fuelie late models!

Nathan Staub flew his Bullet to TQ and win again! Chris Kennedy and Scott Staub finished off another all BMS podium!

Troy Rhoten was third in Sprint Car.
