Hey Leland, Michigan… nice sticker placement and video. Ketchikan, Alaska has just one thing to say: Hold my Guinness. You bring the ice cream. We’ll bring the glaciers. ☘️

Another stop for the traveling sticker. Emerald Lake, Yukon. The views keep getting better.

For generations, an entire year’s fuel supply for a rural Irish household came down to a few weeks of hard labour on the bog. 🌾

Turf cutting was a skilled, physically demanding task, requiring precise use of a sleán to slice consistent sods of peat that would then be stacked and left to dry over the summer months before being brought home for winter fires. Entire families took part, often turning the work into a shared seasonal event with neighbours helping neighbours, since a badly timed cut or a wet summer could mean real hardship come winter. Machinery has replaced much of this work today, but the smell of burning turf still carries that same sense of home for many.

There is something deeply satisfying about a tradition built entirely around preparing for the months ahead. 🔥
