If your words tell me you don’t want to be with me, or your actions make it clear...
I’m not going to convince you otherwise. Why? Because I have a little superpower called not sticking around where I’m not wanted. Once you’ve made it clear that I am not your choice, I will no longer continue to be one of your options. I won’t pop up in your inbox. I won’t show up at your house. I won’t call you or slide into your DM’s or send you an “I miss you text.” I will simply silently & gracefully remove myself from your life. You will never hear from me again. I won’t tell you how much you’re going to regret it (even though you will). I won’t tell you how you’re never going to find someone like me (even though you won’t). I will just let you sit with your choices and feel the absence of me from your life. Why? Because chased love isn’t love. Forced love isn’t love. Manipulated love isn’t love. And I love myself too much to convince anyone to love me. ✌🏻
