I’ve made the decision to stop offering free classes and programs to my community. I’ve poured into people from a genuine place for a long time, but I’ve realized that I cannot continue pouring into people who don’t pour back into me.

So, with that being said, I’m setting that s**t down. Party Time Gives Back and Trashedsox Master Class are officially shut down.

Something changed in me last night, and I mean that with every bit of compassion in me. There’s no hate or disrespect behind this decision. I simply have to honor what I feel and be more intentional about where I give my time, energy, resources, and support.

I’m grateful for everyone I was able to help along the way, but unfortunately, it is what it is. This chapter has come to an end. ❤️

The biggest lesson I learned with Party Time came from my heart for children.

When kids are involved, my compassion kicks in. I want them to have fun. I want them to enjoy their day. And because of that, I’ve been willing to bend my own rules to help make things happen.

The other day taught me why I can NEVER do that again.

Trying to be compassionate almost resulted in my equipment being ruined, and at the end of the day, I would have been the one responsible for replacing it.

So from this day forward, even when children are involved, I cannot allow my heart to override the policies that protect Party Time.

I don’t care who you are. Everybody will complete the rental form, agree to the terms, sign, and pay before receiving Party Time equipment.

I will ALWAYS have a heart for the kids. I’m just learning that protecting what allows me to serve them matters too.

Stepping up and doing things the right way for the Party Time Gives Back Program. What I encountered the other day taught me a lesson, and trust me, it’s a lesson I won’t have to learn twice.

So today, I’m at the District Clerk’s office handling business and making sure I’m taking the proper steps to protect this program and what I’m trying to do for my community.

Because at the end of the day, this is about them babies. They deserve for me to make sure everything connected to this program is handled properly. If I have to learn, adjust, tighten things up, and do things differently to keep doing something positive for these babies, then that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

I learned from it, I’m correcting it, and I’m moving forward the right way.
