Part-Time ReStore Team Member
Rio Grande Habitat for Humanity ReStore is seeking a Part-Time ReStore Team Member to support our daily retail and warehouse operations and provide excellent service to customers, donors, and volunteers.
What you’ll do:
🛍️ Greet and assist customers, donors, and volunteers
💬 Answer questions regarding merchandise, pricing, measurements, and store policies
🛒 Assist customers with loading, unloading, and transporting purchased items
💳 Operate the point-of-sale system
📞 Answer phones and direct inquiries appropriately
🏷️ Place priced merchandise on the sales floor in an organized and attractive manner
📦 Assist with receiving, sorting, cleaning, and moving donated items
🚚 Support donation pickups and loading/unloading as needed
🤝 Assist with training and supporting volunteers
🧹 Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
We’re looking for someone with:
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with staff and volunteers
• Ability to manage time well, arrive punctually, and complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing retail environment
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills
• Ability to communicate ReStore and Habitat for Humanity policies to the public
• Comfortable using phones, email, and basic communication tools
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Weekend availability required
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
