All is not lost to the pandemic! Keystone State Music Theater is going to do an outdoor program in their parking lot so we’ve built a 32x24’ stage for the event. Socially distanced performers and a limited audience spread out across the lot.

Taking the time afforded by the current situation to expand my capabilities. I've been recording church services for the St Ferdinand/St Gregory/Holy Redeemer grouping since late March and now have a portable video production rig assembled and growing. I'm also talking to some groups about how to do productions in a social distancing environment and in non-auditorium venues. This might include screen projection to other rooms as well as streaming options. The show must go on!

Just wrapped up the KSMT production of Newsies at Marshall Middle School. This has been the busiest season for Affordable Productions EVER! Since October we’ve done the North Catholic HS Gala and Auction (sound, lighting and 8 custom display kiosks), Wexford Acting Studio’s production of High School Musical (set design and construction, sound, lighting, tech directing), KSMT’s Newsies (set design and construction, sound, tech direction), and two Thrive Dance Experience events (sound and lighting).

Next up is KSMT’s production of Giants In The Sky in early December (sets, tech direction, sound and lighting) and one more Thrive Dance Experience event in Cherry Hill NJ (sound and lighting) next weekend.

Then a long deserved break that I’ll use to reorganize the new shop and start planning for a major shop addition that will hopefully happen in the next six months or so.
