Brook Nagel and her daughter enjoy making these adorable plaster painting kits together each with different themes. Their kits are available in 2 different sizes and are priced at $5-10 making them an easy gift for kids or an afternoon project.

Laura Brandenburg just brought in beautiful new work from her studio in Grand Meadow, MN!

Hand thrown soup bowls, mugs, herb st*****rs, trays, MN ornaments and magnets. Laura also has several other pieces currently in the shop including vases, air plant holders, wind chimes.

Whether you are an artist who already works in community or someone who wants to start, the Civic Arts Engagement Workshop, offered in partnership with Springboard for the Arts' rural offices will give you tools to create engaging projects with community impact.

Join us from 9 am to 1 pm at the Sons of Norway Lodge on September 26th to brainstorm and learn. Register to attend at https://lanesboroarts.org/calendar/scenic-route-workshop/

This workshop is offered as a part of Lanesboro Art’s The Scenic Route, an artist-empowered local approach to meeting the challenges of road construction. Through investing in artist and community-lead creative projects, Lanesboro Arts hopes to embrace the opportunity presented by the reconstruction of highway 250. Artists who are interested in applying for a project grant through The Scenic Route are highly encouraged to attend the Civic Arts Engagement Workshop.

The simplest things are the most beautiful💛

Yesterday we welcomed new maker Rachel Johnson of Remnants by Rachel based in Byron, MN. Rachel’s one-of-kind artwork is made with pebbles that she sources along the shore in Lake City, MN. Rachel then works with the pebbles to imagine what they could become. These pieces are all framed and ready to display on your shelf or wall and would make a beautiful unique gift.

We are thrilled to add her amazing work to our shop. Stop by and see all the new makers coming to the shop Thursday-Saturday 10am-5pm

Today we are welcoming Sarah McClimon of Sunshine and Spice Farms based in Cresco, IA! Sarah brought us a variety of chemical free home & body products made with her own homegrown herbs and flowers from her farm in Cresco.
