So… we’re clearing some stuff OUT.

This weekend during the Downtown Harrington Sidewalk Sale, Home & Makers will be filling the sidewalk with vintage finds, furniture, home décor, seasonal clearance and projects we had every intention of getting around to. Someday.

Everything is priced to sell because, quite frankly, we don’t want to pack it back up.

Most sale items will be outside, with some larger pieces inside.

Friday 11–5 | Saturday 11–5 | Sunday 9–1

Rocky is just popping in to let you know… 👀🐾

There’s a BIG sidewalk sale happening in downtown Harrington this weekend!

Businesses, community groups and local residents are joining forces for three days of bargain hunting — vintage, clothing, antiques, furniture, home décor, project pieces, clearance and who-knows-what-else.

Rocky recommends bringing a friend. And possibly a bigger vehicle than you think you need. 😹

There isn’t much that feels “normal” right now.

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the fires across Eastern Washington. We know many families are facing unimaginable loss, while others continue to wait and hope as conditions change.

Yesterday, a family visited us from Spokane. As they walked through the store, the mom shared that she had brought her daughter and grandchildren, who were displaced by the fires, to Harrington for “some happy.”

Those three words have stayed with us.

Sometimes healing doesn’t begin with big things. Sometimes it begins with a peaceful drive, an ice cream cone, a cup of tea, a conversation with a stranger, or a few quiet minutes surrounded by beautiful things.

If you need a little “happy” or a moment of peace, we’d love to welcome you. Come browse, enjoy a sample, visit with us, or simply take a break from the constant stream of difficult news.

We’ll continue keeping our neighbors in our thoughts and looking for meaningful ways to support our communities in the days and weeks ahead. Until then, we’re here—with a moment of peace whenever you need it. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who attended our Sunflower Bouquet experience! We had fun creating individual and collective beauty with our gorgeous sunflowers fresh from Belinda Bell’s garden. 🌻

Shout out to The Mercantile in Harrington for their beautiful and delicious bruschetta and crostini made with Belinda’s garden-fresh heirloom tomatoes, Wende's Artisan Sourdough and our Montana Farmacy Dark Cherry Balsamic from Home & Makers. Special thanks to Belinda Bell for leading the experience and for sharing your tips and tricks for amazing sunflower bouquets 🌻

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating wildfires across Eastern Washington.

While much of the news has focused on our neighbors impacted by the Spokane Complex Fire, we know that families and communities in the less populated parts of our state have suffered heartbreaking losses as well.

Every home, every farm, every business, and every memory matters, no matter where it is.

To those who have lost homes, livelihoods, or have been forced to evacuate, please know that you are in our thoughts.

These are the moments when the true spirit of small-town communities shines brightest. Neighbors help neighbors. Strangers become friends. People show up for one another.

At Home & Makers, we’ll be showing up too. As opportunities arise to support those affected, we’ll share them here and do what we can to help.

Our communities are resilient, and together we will help each other recover.

Today is a special day at Home & Makers! 🌻

Not only is our Gather & Grow: Sunflower Edition happening this morning, but we’re also celebrating our friend, local artist, and today’s event leader, Belinda Bell.

Belinda has just returned from a juried art show where her beautiful painting, “Dog Park,” was awarded Best in Show! What a wonderful honor for a talented artist we’re proud to call a friend.

This morning, Belinda will lead our sunflower bouquet experience, sharing her love of flowers and helping guests create stunning garden-fresh arrangements to take home.
