This sweet little guy, Chase, wishing me a happy birthday!... what a heartbreaker he is! I enjoyed such a great night spent with all my cousins, Becky and Chase, Kak and Brenda, and birthday wishes galore when blowing out the candles!

Sweet Spring ! … it is just around the corner! Love this growing, warming season that brings out the buds, and pops the crocus and tulips. Madeleine, my dear granddaughter, so lovingly planted seeds indoors in anticipation of our outdoor garden! Our candies are a great addition to Easter baskets and dinner desserts. It's that loving time of year everyone! Hugs, Kisses and Chocolate!
Valentine’s Day !!..... a celebration of love with traditions of romantic dinners, cards, jewelry and “chocolates”! It is a romantic event for lovers of all ages, and also a fun event for kids and family. This February 14th include gifts of love in celebration of St. Valentine, and invite Cupid into your home! That little winged child, Cupid, is the most famous of all Valentine symbols, with his golden arrow of true love, playing a role in the celebration of romance. Treat your special someone to hand-made chocolate confections. Choose from our many sweets with combos of fruits and nuts. Rich and delicious is Chocolate Raspberry Truffies, a truffle-like center of dark chocolate and raspberry puree, dipped in dark chocolate. Pure delight! Welcome to Fall ! … pumpkins, spice and everything nice ! It’s a marvelous sight… Halloween decors with chrysanthemums, corn stalks and bales of hay. Apple dumplings were always a big treat in our house, made from scratch dough, butter, cinnamon and brown sugar --- the aroma while they are baking is something to be captured for the season! And with this time of year, the farmers’ markets are a wealth of all imaginable types of gourds, squash and apples! Turnaround and it’s Turkey Day and Jingle Bells soon to follow… those glorious holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas!

I’m missing my “Sr Nut” this year… my first holiday season without her by my side. Momma was the best! Kindred spirits we were -- with lots of laughs, and full of love.
