I found this strange little piece of wood at Kipona today and I swear he looks like a snail with a tortured soul trapped inside him.

Like… this is absolutely a creature who would show up outside my window at 3:17 AM, whisper “the veil is thinning” and then disappear into the woods.

Anyway, he lives with me now. Stay peculiar, y’all. 😆🐌

Calling all spooky peeps & Halloween lovin' fiends! All Hallows Flea is Sept 19 & 20 - two days to shop 100+ vendors with vintage Halloween decor, witchy antiques, spooky artists, horror & monsters, macabre & oddities, tarot & psychic readings, and photo ops with kooky characters. Our new location is bigger, with more vendors, more spooky stuff, and more room for shoppers to walk around. Saturday admission is $5 (12 & under free), Sunday admission is FREE for everyone. VIP is sold out. We encourage everyone to dress in costumes! If you love Halloween, this is the place to be!

And here we are… the final chapter of my Ohio vacation weirdness.

I almost didn’t make it to the Buckland Museum of Witchcraft & Magick because I didn’t even know it existed. I was literally sitting around Googling things to do in Cleveland the night before we left when I stumbled across it.

Founded in 1966 by Raymond Buckland, the museum began as his personal collection and eventually became the first museum in the U.S. dedicated to witchcraft, magick, and the occult.

Basically, I accidentally discovered one of the most Stacey-coded places imaginable! I couldn’t have picked a better way to end the trip.

Now it’s time to get back to the real spell-work… getting ready for vending season. 😉🖤

More Ohio vacation weirdness!

Next stop was a tour of the House From A Christmas Story, which was such a fun little nostalgic adventure. We got to see the infamous leg lamp, Ralphie and Randy’s room, and a bunch of the actual props from the movie up close. And yes, there was a gift shop. 😆

After that, we headed over to Lake View Cemetery, which was HUGE and definitely one of the largest cemeteries I’ve ever wandered through. My main mission was finding the Haserot Angel, but while exploring I also got to see John D. Rockefeller’s obelisk and President Garfield’s tomb, which was a cool bonus.

And after all that wandering, we went back to our fancy hotel and enjoyed some free drinks. The whole day was filled with a completely random assortment of things, but somehow it was exactly my kind of day! 🖤

And the vacation adventures continued… Next stop: the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! 🎸🤘

There was so much music history packed into one place, and it was pretty damn cool getting to see it all in person.

And then I did what I was put on this earth to do. I went to the gift shop. 😂 If you didn’t already know this about me, I have never once seen a gift shop and thought, “No thanks, I’m good.”

Guess who survived the plague and is finally ready to finish sharing her vacation adventures? 🙋‍♀️

After we said goodbye to the trolls at The Troll Hole, we went hiking, found a giant rock, hiked some more to a waterfall, and did a little cemetery wandering.

We were having a grand old time exploring until Pippy 🐼 decided she had officially had enough of the great outdoors… So we headed into Cleveland for some air conditioning, our first ever Bob’s Big Boy experience, and a chocolate shake for Pippy.

Nature is healing.
Chocolate shakes are also healing. 😂
