I’d been waiting to make sure there was no hope before making this post. The week started rough, and ended worse. Towards the beginning of the week, shipments began on the new set of One Piece. As many of you know, my distributor promised us quite a few boxes for prerelease. I was even invoiced for more boxes than I had initially asked for. When they sent me the invoice, there were considerably less boxes than I was promised. Their response was “We are splitting allocation between pre-release and a second wave next month”. This would mean that we would have enough to run the event, but not sell boxes to everyone. The arguments about allocation, coupled with some other issues, caused a delay in the shipment of our product. We will be forced to reschedule our events. Due to the upcoming holiday, I am unsure when they will be rescheduled for. Any input would be appreciated. I also was not given any insight into when the second wave will arrive. No matter what these next few weeks look like, this is my promise to you: these boxes will be at or below MSRP. As soon as I know more, I will post that as well.
