After much debate and soul searching Angie and Ashley have decided to sell Blue Mountain Farms Fiber Mill. This is a decision that has been incredibly difficult to make as we have loved doing the work we do, meeting the many wonderful customers who have trusted us with their fibers, and have come to know our employees as family. Due to several health issues with Angie, we have decided it is best to close the mill and offer it as an opportunity to someone else to continue. Please, during this difficult time, only serious inquiries, and no, we will not break up the mill. We will sell it as an entire package. The equipment, priced at $165,000, includes the following:

All machines are functioning as needed, except the cone winder which Angie has a little bit of a hate hate relationship with. It should be rebuilt, but works. Angie and Ashley are also willing to train interested parties at an agreed upon fee depending on requested time and location of training. Please only serious inquiries and don’t ask to split the mill up. Our hope is really that it goes to someone who has a passion to continue what we’ve done for the last 10 years.

It's spring, which means it's planting time. People might only think about Christmas trees in November/December, but this is actually a really busy time at a tree farm. Lots of baby trees are going in the ground now. 🌲☀️

🍃 Be-leaf it or not, we have fruit trees available again this spring! There’s a wide variety of kinds available for all tastes including peach trees 🍑, cherry 🍒, apricot, plum, apple 🍎, pear 🍐, nectarine, and even blueberry 🫐 bushes! We do not ship these trees, so you can place your order and pick them up at our farm store. Our trees are bare root trees, however, for an additional $5, we will pot them for you. One of our favorite things is seeing our yarns or other products used in a creative fashion! This week, we had the opportunity to see some of our flock yarn turned into a beautiful garment!
