Interesting story involving cool guitars. I met with a customer, Brian Bagozzi who told me that a friend was preparing to demo house. As he walked through he found some guitars and other instruments. These are just two, a Fender FR-48 Resonator and a Martin D-42. Can’t wait to begin some repair and TLC on these beauties!

I received a guitar with a loose inlay on the fretboard. I removed it, cleaned it, glued it in place and clamped it with a radiused caul to ensure even pressure on all areas of the inlay.
I left it clamped overnight. Once unclamped I cleaned glue residue and sanded the area level. I applied oil to the entire fretboard and restrung. It was flush with the fretboard and smooth on the fingers.
