✨ Started my shift this morning by making myself some bling-bling! ✨
I’ve wanted a hand chain for 6 MONTHS now! 😍 ((Don’t wait that long!!))

Mid-shift I made a Mother/ Daughter duo matching butterfly bracelets 🦋💕 (Of course, I forgot to photograph them 🙄) But I didn't forget to add them to the prayer request board. ✅️🙏

End of shift came a best-friend pair who have been friends for 36 YEARS! 🥹💖 They got anklets, pictured below.

"I struggle with prayer.

That may seem like a strange confession coming from someone writing a book about prayer, but if we’re going to take this journey together, I owe you honesty from the very beginning. I’m not writing this book because I’ve mastered prayer. I’m writing it because I desperately want to.
If you’ve ever felt guilty because your prayer life doesn’t look like everyone else’s, then maybe you’re exactly who this book is for.

I can recite the Lord’s Prayer without giving it a second thought. Like many people, I learned it years ago and can still say it from memory. For a long time, that was enough. I could quietly repeat the words, mentally check “prayer” off my list for the day, and move on feeling like I had done what I was supposed to do.

But something changed when I stopped reciting the prayer and actually started listening to it. Instead of racing through the words, I began slowing down, reading each phrase one at a time.

That’s when I discovered something that had been hiding in plain sight for years.

I couldn’t get past the first two words.

Our Father.

The problem wasn’t God.
The problem was the word Father."
