Nightingale's Gift Shop - Narmc Auxiliary

Nightingale's Gift Shop - Narmc Auxiliary The Boone County Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop was opened in 1963 and has become one of the primary fundraisers for the Auxiliary.

Proceeds are used to purchase hospital equipment and to provide scholarships to students pursuing medical careers at North Arkansas College. The Gift Shop location and inventory have changed much during the past fifty years but today, you will find North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, Nightingale’s Gift Shop, still operated by the Auxiliary and located on the first floor of the Patient Tower. Nightingale’s Gift Shop carries convenience items for our patients and visitors as well as gift items for everyone: Postage stamps, fresh flowers, gift baskets, jewelry, books, Yankee Candles, Tim Ernst prints, and gifts for precious new babies are all available. Did you know that our sweet Beverly Hefley wrote a book?

If you remember, Beverly also completed her bachelor’s degree this year! Her determination and continued pursuit of her goals are an inspiration to us all. We are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished.
