What a surprise! Our neighbors came over for dinner and said on the way over they heard chicks, we looked everywhere outside but never thought they would be in the basement with the barn cats. šŸ˜‚ we found them the next morning when feeding the kitties. Happy little accidents šŸŒ² šŸ£ what should we name them?

I donā€™t know about you but I donā€™t want anything to do with the kind of joy the world sells. Iā€™m finding joy in feeding my family well and enjoying spending time together growing, raising, preparing, preserving and enjoying our food.

My oldest planted a native pollinator garden this spring. He has over 15 different native plants planted but this mountain mint is definitely the favored plant by all the bees and flies. We counted at least 10 different pollinators enjoying it earlier today. So exciting!!
